Buried in Fairview LWCL Cemetery, west of Herreid SD

Magdalena Died: Jan 1935, buried in Herreid SD.

There was 15 years difference in age between him and his second wife. Jacob and his family immigrated to the United States on the ship Aller. Visit that link for more information and a picture of the ship.

Jacob went to Campbell County, South Dakota and homesteaded in the northeast quarter of section 20, Township 125 N, Range 74 W in Thompson Township. After Jacob died, Magdalena homesteaded in Stark County North Dakota- NW 1/4 of TWP 137N/Range 91W, Section 26.

After Katherina's family died, who was Andreas Jr.'s (Jacob's brother) daughter, she was adopted by Jacob and Magdalena.
