Family History & Pictures:

Although his parents and his brothers & sisters immigrated to the united states, Jacob Jr. stayed in Russia. He and his family, except two of his children, were sent to Siberia. Two of his children, Jacob Louis and Catherine, immigrated to the United States.

Jacob Louis came to this country and was educated. He was a Minister in rural churches, such as Neuburg in Willa, ND and a church in Carson, ND. He became a professor of Philosophy at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. (There is contrary information, that instead he was a professor of psychology at Central YMCA in Chicago). He was known as "Prof. Hirning."

Jacob Louis retired in the early 70s and moved to California. Catherine came to the United States as well, and moved to Pennsylvania.
